Castle Sports Cars are delighted to bring this beautiful Lotus Evora 400 to the market. The Lotus Evora 400 was launched in 2016 and was an instant success. Providing a well-received refresh from the earlier Evora S the Evora 400 as per the title was tuned to a staggering 400BHP at 7000RPM. This extra power was achieved by increasing the supercharger pressure and adding a charge cooler to keep the intake temperatures down. The upgrades went further than just the engine, the chassis was tweaked for greater performance and the exterior and interior was re-designed with a clear increase in quality and fitment.
This particular Lotus Evora is a very special car. Used in 2016/2017 to promote the ‘Ghost In The Shell’ film this car was loaned from Castle Lotus to the Lotus factory for various promotional campaigns. The car can be seen in various photoshoots on the internet and comes with an original promo flag to add further provenance. The decals fitted to the vehicle for these activities are still present but if desired could be removed without leaving any damage or trace. This really is a one of one vehicle.
Finished in metallic grey this Evora looks incredible. The wheels are finished in gloss black showing off the red brake calipers behind. The Ghost In The Shell decals run from front to back and are not over powering finished in a satin silver. The interior of this car is specified in the desirable 2+2 configuration with full red leather. Heated seats, air-conditioning and cruise control are all extras fitted to this Evora.
First bought and registered by Castle Lotus and then sold to the previous owner this car has just two former keepers and a mere 18,000 miles on the clock. This car has been maintained to the highest standard from the day it left the factory with full-service history maintained by us every time. Most recently serviced in 07/21 this Lotus is ready for the open road.
This particular Evora is fitted with the incredible and underrated semi-automatic gearbox. In standard drive mode the car is smooth and easy to drive. In semi-automatic mode using the ‘flappy paddles’ the car is responsive and the gear changes are sharp. The car is a pleasure to drive. The switchable exhaust valves offer a quiet or tuneful drive depending on occasion!
