MANAGING DIRECTORPeter began his career repairing crash damaged TVRs, amongst other manufacturers, in his parents’ double garage in the 1980s. Since then, he has gone on to become founder of the Hilton Group, a business that has expanded over the years to include a multitude of different ventures under its umbrella. These include Castle Sportscars, an official Lotus main dealer, Hilton and Moss, a dedicated restorer of classic vehicles specialising in Mercedes-Benz, and Hilton Coachworks, the largest Mercedes-Benz approved body repair facility in the UK. Away from the responsibilities of directing the Group, Peter has a passion for classic British Sportscars, which of course falls hand in hand with his choice of business and drives him to raise our already exacting standards even higher.
HEAD OF BUSINESSMartin is the general manager for Hilton and Moss and has been involved in motor trade since 1979. Martin first attended City & Guilds college to further his knowledge on engineering. After this Martin furthered his knowledge with cars as he went on to work for an Austin Rover garage in Cockfosters, following on by taking up the role of dealer principal at Broadfields Land Rover. While working at Land Rover, Martin worked his way through the roles from the workshop floor to becoming group service manager, then took up the dealer principal role at the Bishops Stortford branch. In 2001 Martin went onto joining a TVR centre and working for Giles Cooper until 2006 as Service Manager, when he decided it was time to take over completely and bought the business; Which evolved into Bespoke Performance, which has recently merged with Hilton & Moss and Castle Sportscars. One of Martins most memorable jobs was converting a left-hand drive to a right-hand drive. On his days off Martin enjoys playing badminton or tennis with friends, and over the years has come to the choice that a MK1 Escort is his all-time favourite classic car.
SERVICE MANAGERTom has been with the business for 4 years looking after the social media, marketing and PR. Having had a keen interest in cars from a young age, he finally decided the time was right to work with his passion. When he’s not at work, he’s another one spending his spare time doing something not dissimilar to his role day to day – participating in track days on his Suzuki GSX-R 1000 motorbike, or taking to the snow on a snowboard.
