We Are Hiring | Classic Car Restoration Technicians
At Hilton & Moss we are looking for a new experienced Restoration Technician to join our specialist and expert team.
Our state-of-the-art restoration facility continues to expand as we restore and maintain some of the finest classic cars. Our site consists of panel shaping facilities, paint shop and booths, service, restoration, storage and sales departments all in one location at our Bishop's Stortford HQ. Our unique 'all on one site' facility allows us to deliver the highest quality work and provides an environment for employees to thrive.
The team consists of true automotive experts passionate about their craft, we are looking for a candidate who shares this passion, attention to detail is paramount throughout the working day.
Candidates should have the following experience, knowledge and competence:
- Detailed experience in the dismantling and rebuilding of classic cars
- Detailed understanding of mechanical components
- Skilled in fault diagnosis of both mechanical and electrical faults
- Competent in carburettor tuning and fault diagnosis
- Competent in completing detailed vehicle inspections
- Independent and efficient working
- Cataloging displaced parts
- Problem-solving and bespoke solutions
- Engine, gearbox and differential rebuilding knowledge welcomed but not essential
- Race team experience is welcomed but not essential
