F1 World Champion Damon Hill visits Hilton & Moss
Hilton & Moss had the pleasure of hosting NFU Mutual and The Watch Barn by Chrono24 at our showroom on the evening of Tuesday 10th October, accompanied by a famous face!
None other than Damon Hill, the 1996 Formula 1 World Champion and current Sky Sports F1 presenter.
The evening saw a gathering of clients invited from all three businesses, to enjoy an evening of canapes and drinks amongst classic and performance cars, luxury watches and of course a talk and Q&A session from Damon Hill.
We also opened up our workshop facilities to allow guests to join us on tours of our bodyshop, paintshop and fabrication facility as well as our servicing and restoration facility. This allowed everyone to see the full extent of what the Hilton Group can offer, and provide a deeper insight in to the depth of the work that is accomplished behind our usually closed doors.
Back in the showroom, we were delighted to be able to showcase a Lotus Elan Plus 2 that belonged to another famous Mr. Hill. The car was used by Damon's father, Graham Hill, in 1968 and 1969 whilst he was driving for Team Lotus. It was a great opportunity to reunite Damon with a vehicle that he would have last seen when he was just a young boy in the late 60s.
We had some great feedback from our guests, all of whom enjoyed the evening!
